I have limited use of my hands, arthritis, diatetes and am over weight. I have tried many if not all of the toilet aids out there and the Freedom Wand by far is the best value and works the best. Its very important to have good personal hygiene habits. Everybody takes care of this to remain fresh through the day. Most times you wake up, brush your teeth, then take a shower and put deodorant on. You pretty much do this your whole life until one day you find you cannot do it completly alone.

When a person cannot take care of these duties they may feel dirty or even depressed. There are many reasons why people find themselves in this situation. When you find you reach the point of not being able to perform theses duties a personal hygiene aid can help you out along with obtaining a trusted helper. In some situations it is very important to set up a schedule so that the individual does not get left out on being fresh and clean. The goal that all have is to regain independence and dignity as quickly as possible.
